BC PNP invites 182 candidates in its latest draw

The British Columbia immigration, in its latest draw held on June 28, issued 182 invitations through four categories via the BC PNP.  The BC PNP offers interested candidates three ways to apply for PR. Each pathway is categorized into several different categories candidates can apply in. Choosing the category depends on your NOC skill level, work experience, type of job, etc.   The first draw invited 159 skilled workers and international graduates from the BC PNP Tech stream who had scored 75 points and above. The second draw targeted healthcare workers and invited 6 candidates who had a minimum score of 60 points. OINP updates list of vendor organisations for the Entrepreneur Stream

Ontario Immigration has announced an updated list of organisations that are used in the verification process to determine the net worth of the candidate applying to the Entrepreneur Stream under the OINP. The list has now been updated to include: MNP LLP Grant Thornton LLP KPMG LLP OINP also announced the following on their website: “Any reports on applicants received from vendors up to and including May 31, 2022 remain valid”   Requirements to qualify for the Entrepreneur Stream: ●  Have at least 2 years of experience as an owner or senior manager of a full-time business experience in the last 60 months. ●  Finish making an exploratory visit to Ontario no more than 12 months before the date of applying.  ●  Should score at least 4 points on the Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) for English or French. IRCC announces increase in provincial immigration allocation of Nova Scotia

The IRCC has announced that the provincial immigration allocation to Nova Scotia has been boosted by a whopping 40.8 percent. The province will now be allowed to welcome 5,430 immigrants, a massive increase from its previous allocation of 3,857 last year.    Nova Scotia can admit 1,173 more immigrants through the AIP, a massive 75 percent increase than last year. The province can also allow 400 more immigrants through the Nova Scotia Nominee Program. New Brunswick pauses applications for the Provincial Nominee Program

The province of New Brunswick has announced that it will be pausing applications to the provincial Express Entry stream until it can reduce the backlog due to an unprecedented surge in applications.    Quote by Immigration Minister Arlene Dunn: “The province has seen exponential population growth over the last year and we are happy to see this continue in unprecedented applications to our programming.
